Psalm 56: What Can Flesh Do to Me?
In his sermon on Psalm 56, Ryan reminds us that it’s okay to admit our fears and seek the LORD’s help. He emphasizes that we can trust God because of His Word, which points us to the ultimate hope: the New Covenant. In this New Covenant, we no longer need to fear death because Jesus has defeated Satan, sin, and death, allowing us to walk in a relationship with God. In light of this truth, we are challenged to consider how our lives would look if our actions truly reflected our faith and beliefs. Even in our lowest moments, God is near. Regardless of our circumstances, we can remind ourselves: God is for us (Romans 8). God’s people are delivered so they may walk before Him.
